"Stayed there many times over the years. Not a bad place. This year however the staff and management seem to be very confused. Tried making reservation dozens of times…..No one answered phones day or night. Finally some called me back last week and suggested that we could rent a cabin for one night since I have 2 cats that need to be separated. Told her I would consider. Finally got someone a week later who told me that cats are not welcomed in cabins. Why? Because of the litter. What the???? So I said ok just reserve 2 pet friendly rooms. She then told me that cats are not allowed in the hotel. ??????? So this place, as confusing as it is (depending who u get on the phone , ) if anyone, is NO LONGER PET FRIENDLY JUST DOG FRIENDLY APPARENTLY…..wasted my time. I hate being screwed around. Will not stay there again"
"Our family recently spent 3 nights at the resort for my son's wedding. The location was perfect. Loved being right on the beach. And plenty of shade areas. Accommodations were clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again."

"We just spent our wedding weekend here! It was fabulous!! We had a 30 person intimate family only wedding. We had plenty of space for families to all stay on site, a wonderful reception area, and private beach ceremony. With having a private pool and the beach right there, we were able to relax all weekend and have our families a perfect location to mingle and blend. Gorgeous sunsets and cozy housing for all our vacation needs. The outside seating areas are perfect for sunset and early morning coffee. I highly recommend staying here and booking the site for events!"
"We recently held our wedding ceremony and reception at Sunset Beach Resort. It was exactly what we wanted for our quaint and intimate beach wedding with our closest friends and family. The property is gorgeous - it is right on the beach but also has plenty of shaded areas for people who do not want to be in the sun. The units we rented were very comfortable and clean with plenty of outdoor space to enjoy the beautiful beach setting. Also, the location could not have been better - only a few blocks from the Village. We highly recommend and cannot wait to go back. Zack & Natalie Wilson"
