"The size of the lot is average for them to run around in and release their energy. It's not as big as surrounding area dog parks which is disappointing considering how big the old dog park at Buffalo creek was. Limited room to run. They need turf or grass. It's all dirt and my.dogs are muddy every time I leave."

"I use the dog parks. The intent of the County was great as it has good facilities unfortunately though the grass has died and the dogs are running in muddy sand. The area needed some irrigation system to keep the grass alive. Buffalo Creek was a good facility used by a.lot.of dog owners. Not so many use this facility because.of the state.of the ground's"

"Ola Mae Sims Park has really changed this past year. I remember when it had a vollyball pit, baseball, a wide open space to set up for parties. Had grills to bbq and benches. Now sorry to say the County has made a smaller playground, one bbq grill, a basketball court, but mostly they've turned it into a dog park replacing the one at Buffalo Creek. There should have been more thought put into making this facility a great place for humans and dogs."

"Small dog park. Ground cover is mostly dirt. A lot of agility equipment but not a lot of room to run. Lots of covered seating though."

"On the small dog side of the dog park area a strong smell of dog poop when you enter and near both picnic tables as the dog poop receptacle apparently badly needs emptied. The 95+ degree temps and container sitting in the hot sun doesn't help."
