Freedom Park

"i go to this park multiple days a week to just hang out and it's pretty nice. but NEVER let your child use the swings. the handles are covered in rust and will give them blisters and potentially infections. the trash cans are allways filled to the brim and there is lots of litter. the bathrooms are usually locked even during the day. but overall, it's allright."

"Nice, clean little park for families. We were there on a very hot, humid day for a birthday party. The bathrooms were unlocked for the party. Although I didn't use the bathroom at the park, I didn't hear any complaints. The children enjoyed the playground."

"It was a perfect day for a party. My mother turned 80. Park has a couple of shelters. Odd though, their are restrooms and always locked. Makes no sense. Other than that it was a good day to be outside. Oh, the lovebugs were terrible. Lol"

"Plenty of room to sit, eat and play. A great tribute to the Korean War, bandstand, what more do you want ? It's also across from a state trail. Great place for all ages !"

"The park itself isn't so great, it get extremely hot in the summer, there's should be some type of cover over the areas with the slides because they are impossible to go down if it's really hot outside. BUT this park hosts AWESOME events! They have parades, festivals, Halloween festivals, Christmas activities including a visit from Santa. I love the events they hold and so far everyone one I've went to was free!! There is also a state trail there for bicycling, walking, sight seeing, etc."
