"This is a lovely park with swings, wide walking, running, biking trails around a well kept lake. Bathrooms are clean and neat. This park is maintained by the Starkey community. There's a dog park for residents. There's a small sandy beach but there are alligators in the lake."

"The first birthday party my big brother ever had, his beautiful wife, Lori, and daughter, Ashleigh, organized a surprise for him here. And it was wonderful! I couldn't help feeling a little sad though, that Lori took the time to create a slideshow that no one got to see. She wasn't given the internet information. The party still went well of course, but after months of preparation and planning..... I kinda feel like all of us got robbed on THAT one. A simple slip of paper next to the remotes.... A sign by or behind the TV .... Put the password someplace park people!! Otherwise, a great place to hold a private party. Gorgeous view!!"

"It is a gorgeous setting for a family gathering like the one I atteded there recently. The lake even had a small alligator to remind you that you're in Florida where any body of water can hold a surprise! So no getting in the water!"

"Our family loves this park. There are walking trails, beautiful sunsets, lakes, wildlife (including gators, rabbits, ducks, all sorts of birds, turtles, squirrels). The trails are wide enough for people to pass without feeling squished. Parking is free and convenient. There are bathrooms here, but you have to know the code to get in."

"Nice park for walking, bicycling, running... People are courteous. Small children are safe walking around on the path. Plenty of wild life to observe. There is a playground for the little ones, a restroom, water fountain and plenty of benches to rest along the way. Lots of ant farms so be careful when standing on the grass to not accidentally stand over an ant farm. I also saw a long black snake near the trail. Beautiful views of the lake throughout the entire trail."
