"The food is honestly really really good. I get Ella's Fave for my selections because it's very savory and has just a little heat to it but not too much to be hot. The thighs are honestly perfection. I recommend getting the meal plate instead of the sandwich. While the sandwich tastes amazing, it's almost impossible to eat as an actual sandwich because of the sauce and size of the meat. Whatever you get you'll need a fork and knife, and it definitely isn't food to eat while driving. But it is extremely flavorful and delicious chicken."
"This was my 1st time eating at this restaurant, I heard great things about it. I must’ve come at the wrong time of day today because none of my food was fresh and I also didn’t get a receipt.I tried the lunch special with Parmesan fries and the fries were full of grease barely any crunch the chicken tenders were warm and still had a bit of crunch. The 3 lil Sammies weren’t that warm. The best items for us today were the sweet tea and the pickles. We didn’t try our Mac and cheese as we disposed of the food."
"I normally get the kale salad cuz of how fresh it normally is and how good it tastes that it’s worth the $15, but TODAY! ABSOLUTE BISMAL!! It was old and so disgusting that it wasn’t even edible! Wasted $15! Way to lose my trust and a customer! I called the restaurant about it and they didn’t even seem to care! Just terrible!"
"It completely blows my mind that this place isn't busier! I've been here several times and every time it's super good. Quality chicken and authentic Nashville hot style sauce. I was just in Nashville recently and did a comparison with 3 other Nashville hot chicken places. Joella's came in 2nd! The staff here, especially the lady manager, are always pleasant. If you haven't already, definitely come check this place out!!"
