"This was our first time here and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere was great. Love the red glow…the service? Amazing. Colleen treated us like good friends. Excellent recommendations. We ordered cocktails that were delicious. We had the tomahawk steak with truffle Mac and asparagus. Steak was cooked to perfection. The side dishes were delicious. We absolutely loved our experience. Will definitely be back. Thanks guys!"

"Celebrated my birthday at Oak & Ember and it was wonderful. The food, the service, the atmosphere, 5 stars all the way. I started with the Sippin Summertime cocktail and the arepas appetizer, both delicious. For dinner I had the Chilean Sea Bass and my wife had the lamb chops, both cooked perfectly and tasted devine. We shared the smores dessert and a cappuccino which was a perfect ending to a perfect evening. We will definitely celebrate at Oak & Ember again."

"After moving into our new home we had decided to celebrate and dine out at a nice place around town. We heard several different places were good for a little date night but we wanted steak and had a house warming gift card for Kyle G's restaurant group. We got dressed up and went a little later than normal to avoid some of the crowds which played well into our favor. We loved the entrance, once we found it behind the pretty looking lake out front. We ordered cocktails which included an old fashioned that was smoked and a drink I can't quite remember since this night. The drinks were a little forgettable unfortunately but the appetizers we got made up for it. We ordered some braised lamb empanadas and some charred cherry tomato bruschetta, both of which had big flavors and were quite tasty. For our mains we both ordered steak. Myself, I got a NY Strip, which is my favorite cut and my wife got the rib eye which is her favorite. We both got some black roasted garlic but neither of us enjoyed it with our steak so we didn't use it. The steaks themselves were cooked extremely well, not well done, just cooked perfectly! We got some truffle mac and cheese and some Brussels sprouts as sides. The Mac & Cheese was absolutely a show stopper and I would get this every time I go for sure. My wife liked the Brussels sprouts but was not blown away. Our server was an extraordinary host and answered every question we had. The server also came to the table every time with the smoked old fashioned and put on a little show with the smoke. It was neat the first couple times but wasn't necessary after the 3rd or 4th drink. Overall it was a solid experience. I would go again with tempered expectations. Sometimes when you do that it leaves room for them to surprise you the next time you go and improve your overall feelings of a restaurant. I hope they can deliver!"
