"The owner Pam does a fine job grooming canines. Unfortunately, her attitude towards human patrons is in need of some work. We took our little dog to her a few months ago and Pam asked my mother if she was fully vaccinated. At the time, my mother said no, and Pam told her she needed to get out of the grooming area. That was the first sour impression. The second time, Pam complained that our dog’s cheeks were too matted and needed to be attended to in between grooming. The third and final time, Pam said her hair was too long around her face and would think of using a different blade. My mother asked if they could please use a medicated shampoo as our vet requested because she has been having a problem with yeast infections. Pam yelled from the back of the place and told my mother “well, we have different types of medicated shampoos so we need to know what her problem is.” Pam has a bad attitude towards customers and it has left a poor impression on us. We will not be going back, nor will we be recommending anyone else to go there. She has tacky signs on the door as well. “Walk your dog before entering” and “if you aren’t vaccinated, wear a mask.” Pam also denied that it was her that gave my mom an attitude. She rolled her eyes and blamed her male coworker (don’t know if this is her son or not) for giving my mom a problem. It was you Pam. Please be kinder to your clientele. We keep you in business by the way."

"Pioneer Pet Salon is outstanding! We've been going there for years. They always do a great job! I get a lot of compliments on my Yorkie-poos grooming including my vet's office! Great pricing and great service. My fur babies love going and get so excited to see the staff and owner! I feel comfortable leaving them knowing they are in good hands and treated well! Highly recommend!"

"I have a poodle mix puppy that was groomed twice before at another shop. When I picked him up, he seemed very scared - like he was mistreated. I took Finn to Pioneer Pet Salon on 3/18/16. I cannot say enough about them. They brought me in the back to look around and to see everything. They kept Finn all day as he would get anxious after each step and they didn't want to upset him. They would clip him and stop if he was anxious and let him play (they have a basket of toys!) then continue grooming him. When I picked him up, he was happy, frisky, ran to me, ran back to Pam, the groomer (which he NEVER did at the other place, he couldn't get out of there fast enough) and was so happy. Oh! and his poodle puppy cut was gorgeous, just like I wanted. Pam spend a long time in the beginning, discussing exactly what I wanted and what she recommended, which I really appreciated. The staff was so friendly, and all the dogs that were there already were happy and calm. I highly, highly recommend Pioneer Grooming! Thanks Pam!!!!"
