"Although my wife and I are veteran cat owners, we recently faced a conundrum when planning a weekend trip up to Georgia for a wedding. For the first time in several years, we are sharing a home with two very young cats—Sage, eighteen months, and Green Grover, six months. Because of this, we weren’t sure what our best alternative was as far as finding care for them while we were away, as we had no idea how either of them would react to a long weekend outside both of their individual comfort zones. Boarding them at a vet seemed like a bad idea as well, as they have become remarkably bonded to one another, and we just didn’t want to have to separate them. Sheila solved all our problems better than we could have hoped. Although our older cat proved to be initially shy, Sheila quickly won him over, turning one of the biggest potential question marks of our weekend into eagerly anticipated photos and text updates twice per day.
