Kimpton Angler's Hotel

"Perfect location walking distance to South Beach. The rooms are clean and everything that you would expect from a five star hotel the one bedroom with the jetted outdoor tub was worth the trip after a long ride back from the keys this relaxing hotel was sure to please. Would give it 10 stars if it went that far."

"One of the best dog friendly hotels we’ve ever been to. They have upgraded our room and gave my husband a birthday package (wine, chocolate, and jam) along with a personalized card. They were always quick in responding and very polite and professional. Location was great for us, as we purposely did not want to be on the Ocean Drive, to have more quiet sleep with our dig, however it was very conveniently located only 10 min to the beach or so. My only comment would be on the maintenance for the pool which happened during the last 3 sunny days of our stay when the main rooftop pool was closed. We could still use the main level pool but I personally did not like the main level pool as much."

"A understated, nice and cozy hotel. Rooms are great, clean and spacious. The roof-top pool is great. Great, welcoming staff and very friendly with a calming relaxing atmosphere. Well located near enough to the beach and Ocean drive without being in the centre. A recommended hotel for central Miami you can escape back. I don’t usually leave tips for the maintenance and room cleaning staff but I had to because they did a wonderful job each day. I would come back for sure. Great place for family and relaxing with a feel of escaping the business. They even add dress pass to F45 training which is across the street. Overall great."

"We had a premium king with a terrace which was fantastic especially with the rainy weather we had. We were able to still sit outside and stay dry and watch the storm pass. Hotel staff are extremely accommodating and friendly and the wine hour every day is a great bonus. We would stay again and hopefully have some sun next time to enjoy the roof to pool!"

"If you stay here, make sure you understand which side of the hotel you are staying at. One side appears to be updated and likely in line with the pricing. The other side, which we ended up having our room in is very much in need of updating. While the room was spacious, it felt run down and the furnishings were definitely old and stained. The bathroom had a half glass wall for the shower which would have been fine except that it was not sufficient to keep water in the shower. This resulted in pooling of water which required multiple towels on the floor to keep things dry. Service was friendly, although we did not need much other than valet as there are no self parking options. Location was great with an easy walk to the beach! The breakfast at the attached restaurant was underwhelming and overpriced. You would be better served to eat elsewhere for the same price (or less) if you are looking for food that is more than just so so."
