"Very nice little hotel. In a quiet neighborhood. The rooms have been recently remodeled. The housekeepers do an amazing job. Rooms smelled nice. No odor at all. Nice view of the little lake behind the hotel. The staff was very nice. Rooms have a full size kitchen. At least 4 restaurants within a half mile so definitely within walking distance. No vending machines but I asked about water and was given a bottle."

"Worst hotel experience of my life. All starts before you even arrive, driving to the location centered in a poor residential neighborhood. This hotel was mostly likely public housing or a migrant workhouse that was damaged in the hurricane. They used insurance money to fix up a few rooms. The work was done poorly, and the whole place smelled like cigarettes. More than half the place seemed uninhabitable. They advised as a family-friendly establishment, but when checking in, they had no cribs. My wife, baby, and me all had to spend the first night together all in the same small bed like straight out of Charlie and the chocolate factory. We didn't sleep that well from the all-night parties happening outside and listening to people's tvs blasting through the walls. The next morning, we tried to talk to management about some of our concerns. No shocker here, but they were extremely rude and clearly have never been formally trained in any way about the hospitality business. Business objectives are reliant on fake reviews and heavily edited pictures. We ended up packing all of our stuff up and leaving that horrible place. Ps. Any negative complaints to management are followed up by their cancelation policy. This means you are either stuck staying at the Dump Waterinn or lose your money and go stay at a respectable hotel like we did."

"BEWARE. This motel is very noisy and has an awful stench. They set off strong fragrance bombs to mask the smell of heavy cigarette smoke in the rooms. I know it seems like a really good budget option but after visiting, I strongly urge you to see it in person before booking. I suspect the positive reviews are chatGPT. Our experience was so awful, I will be contacting the Marco Island Visitors' Bureau. Please see attached photos. We visited Thanksgiving week and first noticed the surprisingly loud radio in the empty parking lot. I mean, it was blasting. My husband were laughing at first, wondering why the motel would play outdoor music at such a volume but we came to realize it was the neighbors playing the music, very loudly and possibly in protest? The lobby counter was dirty and they didn't have a crib for our baby but we tried to be optimistic because the rooms did look newly updated. Unfortunately, the loud radio persisted through the night, combined with early morning infomercials through poorly insulated walls and a rattling AC. None of us slept but the kicker was the smoke pouring through the slats on the balcony floor. The view overlooking the little lake is actually nice but was impossible to enjoy with smoke wafting up through large gaps in the floorboards. Note, upon check-in, you must sign a strict 'no smoking, quiet hours' agreement BUT the motel does not enforce these rules to other guests / residents. When we contacted management about these issues, they didn't offer to move us despite the parking lot being empty. The manager only repeated, over and over, like a robot, to refer to the no cancellation policy. We ended up checking out and losing our money on the second night. I can't help but think they make their money preying on unsuspecting tourists on a budget. Please save your hard earned cash and the hassle of finding another place to stay. Avoid this motel."

"My partner and I came here for the thanksgiving weekend. WOW-we were so impressed from start to finish. The room was beautifully laid out with all new furnishings. The balcony was screened in and overlooking a small lake. There was a small beach area to sit out and look out at the lake. The whole property was clean and centrally located close to restaurants. Lauren at the front desk was informative and very helpful. We thank you for making our stay enjoyable. We hope to come back soon"

"Just stayed at this lovely place last weekend in a 2 bedroom suite. It was perfect for my friend and I. We had separate bedrooms and bathrooms and had plenty of space. Nice large deck overlooking the lake. It was very clean, quiet and we had everything we needed and then some. The staff was great too. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if I ever return to Marco Island."
