Candlewood Suites Ft Myers I-75, an IHG Hotel 3626 Colonial Court, Fort Myers, FL 33913

"I guess I spoke too soon about this hotel. It’s like the old saying goes everyone’s on their best behavior when you first meet them or deal with someone or some company. My company switched me from days tonight working in the hotel has not been overly accommodating, knowing that I have to sleep during the day i’m working five sometimes six days a week or should I say six nights a week the problem is I’m sleeping during the day when the maids want to clean the rooms which also keeps me awake if they’re nearby that I guess I have to deal with what I don’t have to deal with is the hotel renting a room to somebody with a barking dog. I called to the front desk and asked them to take care of the situation actually two times I called it took over an hour for them to correct the problem. I had to call the corporation IHG to have them call the front desk which worked although that was today. We’ll see what happens tomorrow. The personnel at the front desk. Have a bad habit of blaming everyone else for the problem instead of taking responsibility for it. Too many excuses with very little results. The irony of the situation is Their motto is we want you to be 100% satisfied well maybe just maybe they should practice what they preach. Here we go again. They know that I’m trying to sleep during the day because they know I’m working at nights. The company that I work for was supposed to extend the stay of the hotel room. I don’t know what happened. This is out of my hands. I don’t need the manager of the hotel, banging on my door, waking me up that’s very unprofessional of her, I will be getting in touch with her superiors. All I can say if you’re working nights, I would not recommend this hotel. They do not accommodate people that have to sleep during the day. Here we go again you know this outfit is like children. You have to tell them over and over and over again the same thing and it doesn’t stick. They know that I’m working nights and I have to sleep during the day but yet they still keep knocking on my door, waking me up, I’m beginning to think that just doing it out of spite. it’s the same old story. I called the front desk and they blame somebody else for it. They never take responsibility and try to correct the problem when I get done with this job I’ll never stay at another one of these hotels and buy that I mean IHG because I have even called corporate headquarters and they do nothing about it, so I am at the end of my rope. So now that I’m up, I decided to try and take a shower. There’s no hot water how convenient this is a hotel from hell."

"They are very nice here! Very clean. The rooms are nice with refrigerator and cook top and microwave and mini dishwasher in all the rooms. They have a nice little store. Free coffee all day and night. The staff are all wonderful."

"The room was so nice. It was spacious, clean, and had plenty of work space. The kitchen has just about everything you need and everything was in great shape. The staff there was super friendly and helpful with anything we needed. I will definitely stay there again when we are in town."

"I stayed at this property for one night in January 2024. My check-in process was quick and easy, even though I arrived late in the evening. I was assigned a room on the fourth floor for my one-night stay; the room was immaculate and spacious, with all the expected amenities. My only issue started around midnight when I was about ready to get some rest for the night as I had to be up early the following day. The room I booked was a Queen Studio Suite; however, it was an adjoining room, which I prefer not to have, but in the many past experiences I have had, it has never been an issue in the past. However, this sat was much different than in the past. For the next three hours, all I could hear was the television and a woman talking; which sounded like gibberish through the adjoining door. At about three in the morning, I had enough and went down to the front desk. Surprisingly the male party in the room in question actually rode the elevator with me and was clearly under the influence of some sort of prescription pills or narcotic stimulants. When I went to the front desk the clerk was helpful and stated he would go up and try to find the root of the problem and attempt to rectify it. About 30 minutes late the issue with the noise was a little worse than before, I could still hear their loud 3 in the morning talking and went downstairs to request a new room. The same gentleman I previously spoke to stated they were sold out for the night and he would attempt to speak the the party next to me again. He also said he would leave a note for the General Manager in the morning. The issue I had with that was that when I went online it showed that there were other rooms at that property is available for that period of time. Anyway, they both quoted down and I got some needed, but a short period of rest before the next morning. I never spoke to the GM as I had a busy schedule that day and it would have not changed anything. I would certainly stay here again but, this experience made me make sure I never get an adjoining room ever again."

"Well I should have known by the price that this was not the nicest of places in the area. We had 2 days of no water from 9am to 2pm. 1 Day of no housekeeping to pick up trash. Plus our bathroom light fell off the wall and there was no one available to fix it for a day. The location is nice and close to food and I75. The staff were friendly."
