"Rooms and hotel were clean, cleaning staff were friendly. The weekend front desk staff were less than helpful. We needed to extend a day due to a family emergency but instead of helping she told us to go on the app and book another day. As Hilton members, we expected more service. So we booked a room at the hotel next door. Disappointed with the service."

"Stayed at Home2Suites many times and always had a great experience. However, this one at Lakeland had a lot of things wrong in the room: TV had network issues (since they couldn’t figure it out, they told us to call Spectrum to work it out with them), the dishes/glasses in the dishwasher weren’t clean, started the dishwasher then an hr later I saw that the dishwasher was leaking and flooding the front area of our room. Called maintenance and thank god they were able to fix it. And on our last day, the water in our room turned to brown (see pictures). I was told at the front desk that the Manager was going to call me about it since he/she was currently in the meeting. Never received a phone call."

"I love this place. Never had an issue until recently. I stayed Dec 23, 2023 and my room had bedbugs! Yikes! Yes, I was bitten and notified the front desk staff. They had someone come in to clean the room but the bed was still infested. I asked for a refund and was told I needed to call Expedia (the booking company). Called them and was told I would have to go through the hotel. The back and forth is ridiculous! It shouldn’t matter what site I booked through. You, H2S have a problem, a bedbug problem and I want you to fix it immediately."

"Rooms were clean and comfortable... entire hotel was very clean! There was almost always someone cleaning all day long! Breakfast leaves a LOT to be desired! It's all pre-made, microwaved stuff. If this brand would adopt the breakfast format of the Hilton Garden Inn.... it would be THE place to stay! Only other thing that was a bit disappointing is that we were bumped from a king room to a double queen room without notice or apology. Overall nice place to stay... plan breakfast out!"

"This trip was business/getaway with my wife. Room was spacious and clean. The weight room / laundry was clean, easy to access and no extra charge. There was an outdoor pool (I had thought there was an indoor pool from what I had read online. Staff was very kind and always said good morning/ evening or at least a hello or welcome back. Morning continental breakfast was nice. DIY waffles were very tasty and the spread was good to suit a variety of tastes or limitations. If we return for work, we will absolutely stay here again, next time we will bring the puppy as this place is pet friendly."
