"I ordered Sunday with brownie and 2 scoops of ice cream. It was amazing, I haven't had such a delicious dessert in a long time and the service we received was excellent."
"The 2 ladies who were manning the scoops on 2/2/24 at about 2 pm were the best. They offered tastes, offered and cleaned the available table, when, frankly, we would have ate it in the car, and were so very pleasant to us out-of-towners. We met and conversed with 2 couples, (local), who were delightful. All-in-all, a wonderful, old fashioned experience. And then there was the ice cream!!!!! So very good! Generous portions of great flavors at reasonable prices. Who can ask for more??"
"2024-01-19: I had a rare craving for an ice cream, so I went to LaRue's again tonight. I saw a photo on another review and inquired about what it was. I was told it is the Mega Banana Split. Well...I wanted one! My four choices of ice cream were: Butterscotch Bomb, Midnight Chocolate, Caramel Macchiato, and Cherry Oblivion. For toppings, I had Hot Fudge, Butterscotch, Pineapple, caramel, whipped cream, and four cherries. It hit the spot! Excellent! The place was pretty busy for 8pm. 2023-09-16: This is a nice little ice cream shop with some unique ice cream flavors. I ordered the Banana Split with Mint Moose Tracks, Caramel Caribou, and Butterscotch Bomb ice cream, and caramel, butterscotch, hot fudge toppings, then topped with whipped cream and cherries."
"Small place but cute atmosphere. Many flavors, friendly staff, clean, old school feel reminds me of being a kid and being taken for ice cream with my dad. Small and big tables for all ages. Ice cream was good, shake was thick and flavorful! Worth taking the drive with the family to this cute ice cream shop!"
