"We visited this place for two nights to visit Wells Gray Provincial Park, before we headed to the Rockies. This is a beautiful place with a magnificent view on the lake. Very kind hosts that made us feel like home. Breakfast was very good, and we even also used the barbecue once with a beautiful sunset. Not to forget that you can use paddle boards, kayaks, and canoes anytime you want to hit the lake. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone!!"

"We thought we had reservations at the Lake House this past weekend, we arrived to find that the proprietor had no knowledge or memory of the reservation. Honestly, we walked in, and the place was a mess - straight out of a National Lampoon vacation movie, with 6 dogs running. However, I will say, the proprietor was apologetic, and did hook us up with Central Motel, and if you're planning a bike trip on the Withlacoocee, this is the place to stay. It's clean and right next to the bike trail. We recovered and had a wonderful time."

It's one of a kind situated in the most perfect part of Citrus County. The establishment is beautiful, the rooms and beds are so comfortable. The breakfasts are fabulous, scenery, the lake, the quaint small town of Inverness, perfect! Cathy is afraid that when I come for a stay I won't leave! She is a special Innkeeper.
