"Was overcharged on my visit which was really a 24 hour stay (from 6am one morning, until 3am the next morning due to time/business constraints) , but didn’t mind paying for two nights since we were exhausted. They charged my card $323 which is more than double per night what is listed online. The phone has a busy signal so I can’t speak to management. The room was very rundown, everything needed to be replaced. The shower had obvious water damage & bugs in the window seal. The pool didn’t have proper chemicals & needs to be replastered, retiled at the very least. For added pizazz there was a nice yellow mustang parked behind the motel with a boot on the wheel. The only positive is the river docks. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you get a stellar rate online as there are many old Florida motels on this strip & a county park/boat ramp where you can visit the Suwannee."

"The owner here is very informative about the area and local restaurants. We stayed here for work, and it was quiet, and peaceful. They are working on remodeling and the place looks great so far. The floating dock behind the motel is an awesome experience and we even saw a manatee while we were out there relaxing. As far as the negative reviews, I will just say you can't please everyone and leave it at that. We will stay here again when we are back in the area!!"

"The hotel was nicer than expected. We were moved to another room because of a tv issue and staff was very accommodating!! Both the rooms were remodeled. You can tell they are really trying to run a nice place. Very over priced for sure. They could do better at deep cleaning. Top quilt had stains. Sheets were nice. It rained so we didn’t get to use the nice patio area."

"I don't get the negative reviews on this motel. Maybe they are expecting a quaint, old Florida motel to be like a Marriott? I felt like I crawled into bed at my grandmother's. So cozy. The beds were perfect. Rooms clean. Had a microwave and refrigerator. Sherry was so sweet. And the view down by the river was beautiful. I would take this over a chain hotel any day! I will stay here every time I go this way to south Florida and back home. Loved it"
