"I’m angry because communication was not there when I called to be quoted for two grooming appointments. Being told $75-85 without the words (per dog) makes a big difference I would have never went. They were sweet and wonderful to the dogs but not at all worth $170."

"Just a warning to those of you who have fur babies in need of grooming services; using Glamour Paws off of Daniels Pkwy across from Brookshire could be detrimental to your pet! I scheduled grooming services for last April 18 2023 due to Uno's other groomer not being available for another 3 weeks. When I picked him up the lady receptionist brought him out, picked him up and said he got a little nick on his inside right hind leg but it was not bleeding. I did not have my readers on, so the way she was holding him did not accurately show the injury. I took her word for it that is was a minor thing. After a couple of days of him licking the wound I finally got a real good look at it and found out it was not a nick but a cut and he has a hole in his thigh. I applied hydrogen peroxide and antiseptic gel to try to stave off any infection. I took him to his vet today, first thing in the morning and his doctor stated the he needed stitches. After my wife came home today I went back to Glamour Paws with photos and showed the man behind the front desk. He stated that it was in the notes about the injury and all he could do was offer me a credit when I come back for Uno's next groom. He stated that animals move around when getting groomed. I understand that and asked him why would I bring my dog back to them after what he just went through. At the least they should have offered to refund the money for the groom and/ or partially cover the vet bill. Very unprofessional with no empathy whatsoever. So, if you want a $600+ groom, feel free to take your pet there. I would not go back now even if they offered me free grooming for life."
