"Any time I bring new and nice items with popular brands, they are not accepted. While this store is supposed to be for adults, it’s mainly for a select number teenagers. There is little to no diversity in the options for clothing, this is especially true for women’s clothing."

"i’ve been going here for years now and never had a problem until yesterday. the girls working were talking abruptly loud and just stared at eachother when i asked for a dressing room. i love the store but the custom service doesn’t live up to my expectations. sorry"

"I brought the store designer clothes and the ones that still had the tag on it, thinking they would appreciate it but after they told me 30 dollars for 15-20 clothes, i was a little shocked. So really quick i discussed it with my mom next to me what i should really do because they were brand new or good condition clothes, ( the girl was getting frustrated and was tapping her nails as loud as she could and yelling with her worker… lol Since she was disrespectful, i told her “sorry but i will take my clothes back, thank you” So she proceeded to tell me to pick all my clothes from the bins and take it. It’s not my problem, if there is not enough people working on a sale day. I actually liked this store, but why disrespect me and my mom front of all the customers, when we were respectful to you after all?! I would rather take my clothes to a hospital or give it out to homeless people who will very much appreciate it. Platos Closet, please hire people that are capable for a business and respect their customers!"

"Personally i don’t think this should be categorized as a thrift store. it’s just a resale store. They won’t take almost any of the cloths you bring in unless it’s a name brand and in BRAND NEW condition, like man i have bought stuff from the thrift with a stain or two on it, it’s called getting the stain out. i can find the same overpriced nike or adidas cloths they sell at Plato’s , for 5$ at any other thrift store in the area. the WHOLE point of thrifting is to find cheaper more affordable cloths that may not always be in the best condition guess why….? CAUSE IT’S ALR BEEN WORN. This store literally just wants name brand perfect prices of clothing to mark down from original price but up sell from other thrifts. it literally defeats the purpose. someone take this shi off the thrift store search."

"I went to Plato’s yesterday (Friday) and today. My experience today was so much better than yesterday. The staff tonight (Taylor, Inci & Ipek) was a breath of fresh air compared to the day before. They were helpful and engaging with me. Being that on Friday was my first time I had asked some questions and come to find out I was given the wrong information. Even though I was told wrong Taylor, Ipek & Inci took care of me anyway. Did they have to NOPE but they did. I mean even down to the music was so much nicer. I will call ahead from now on and make sure these girls are at the store before I come back. I truly hope that Plato’s really appreciates these girls because they make a difference for their company!!"
