"Normally I love this Hot Topic, as they always have the coolest stuff and the friendliest staff. Yesterday, however, my friend and I came around 7pm and during our whole visit, we could hear one of the two employees talking trash about another coworker of theirs. Loudly and in front of everyone. The other employee didn't seem interested and never responded to her, but also didn't stop her. Additionally, what she was talking about this coworker doing really seemed minute, to be honest. She complained this girl asked if some customers needed a bag or not, when "They totally needed a bag!", as well as "She forgot to ask if they were paying with card or cash!". It just sounded like she might be new, or something along those lines. If that's the worst you can complain about it doesn't seem that bad in my opinion. Mind you, you can dislike someone of course, but trash talking them openly in front of customers makes you just look hateful. Not only that, but this employee had absolutely no room to talk. Upon entering, she was sitting on the counter, only said "Welcome." to us in a dead voice, and only spoke to us or anyone else when she told another customer (while still sitting on the counter) to move her closed fanny pack to her back because "Where I'm sitting the light makes it hard to see you, so I can't tell if you're stealing.". We even had to wait for her to notice us waiting to be checked out because she was trash talking so much. Like I said, I love the selection and literally every other staff member I've met here. This girl just seemed hateful, and it soured the atmosphere. I hope she does better."

"Very nice and well kept shop. My wife and I had a hard time understanding the final price on our receipt because we had purchased some clearance items. Both of the employees tried their best to explain it to us(which I hate to admit took several times) and finally I understood. They were as super nice and helpful throughout the entire process. My daughter loves shopping here for the clothes and funko pops and with this friendly and helpful staff this is a great place to shop at."
