"I would have previously given this a 5 star rating up until I got a call from my mother in law. The cashier at this boutique charged her card twice. Several times while we were at the store she had to call the manager because she didn’t know how to ring someone up properly. We were very patient because everyone has to learn but what shocked that the manager never taught her how to do it. (She was also working alone…) While ringing my clothing up I asked her if they do military discounts because I have MY military ID and she said yes. Considering I spent 150 dollars, If I can save a tad bit why not just ask? She also didn’t know how to do the buy one get one half off deal on the jeans and had to call her manager. When it was time for me to pay I had asked her if I could pay 30 dollars in cash and the rest on my card and she told me she did not know how to do it. I ended up having to cash app the owner the rest of the money owed. When it was my mother in laws turn to be rung up she scanned all her items in the computer and I asked her since it’s her birthday if she can use my military discount as well. That was no problem and she asked her to tap her card. The cashier looked at the computer weirdly and then asked her to insert it. We later found out that this caused her to charger my mother in laws card twice. Her order was around 50 bucks so after being charged twice it would have came to 100 dollars. My mother in law called up to the boutique and talked to the manager. The manager proceeded to be rude and say that her employee never did that. She was refusing to refund the charge or at the very least ask us to bring in a bank statement. My mother in law wasn’t upset that this mistake happened up until she talked to the owner and she was extremely unprofessional. The owner proceeded to say stuff like” are you even in the military” because the reasoning for us charging you twice was because of the military discount. That just didn’t even make sense. You are going to charge someone’s whole order twice because of this?? When you’re running a business you really need to train your employees before leaving them alone in your store. The employee was super sweet when talking to her and during the whole shopping experience. She had told me she was never trained and she also gets payed through cashapp. She had to keep apologizing for calling her boss so many times throughout the 30 minutes we were there because she was never taught."
