"Went in because my husband has a fracture and was in a lot of pain. He was wanting a second opinion because the first er we went to when the fracture happened didn’t offer much insight. These people wouldn’t even touch his leg, basically refused treatment, but still banded him and took him back to the fast track. We sat back there an hour and never saw a doctor. When we explained we needed to talk with an orthopedic on call they said “oh we don’t have that, here’s two numbers to call but they may not take your insurance we don’t know” all I know it I hope my husband does NOT receive a bill for them to deny care on his broken leg but band and send him back there anyways… never again"

"The ER staff in back were mostly unconcerned with my issues, even though I was brought by ambulance, throwing up blood. Even before I was completely stable, they were discharging me. When the nurse took my IV out and bandaged it, blood was everywhere. I had blood freely running down my arm in 3 places and my sister had to run get the nurse again, so a triple pressure dressing was put on . This was a very unacceptable visit for an emergency. Dade City Hospital is one of the better hospitals in this area, looks like that is changing!"

"My nurse Chris was great, very professional and also made me feel comfortable, however I did not feel that the Dr understood my need for being in the ER. She said “what do you want me to about it, see your GI Dr.” I told her it was 6 weeks away but she talked to me as if I wasn’t having trouble swallowing and epigastric pain. I felt she was cold and aloof. Perhaps she was overworked or tired, but she was not empathetic."

"This was the worst hospital I have ever been to. I was there for more than12 hours after a golf cart accident in which I hit my head and split it open and broke my collar bone. It took them more than 3 hours to administer anything for the pain and never cleaned the wound on my head even after being asked to do so 3 times. It took 4 hours to get a sling for me before I let them know I was leaving. They only brought it to me while I was walking out of the room I was admitted to because I was leaving."
