"After more than 20 years of seeing our veterinarian, my wife and I decided to switch. While the details of why we made the change are not important, what is important is that we wanted to find a vet who could meet our high standards. We're passionate about our pets and want only the best for them. We began our search, but our first two visits were unsuccessful. When when entering (both) of these and explaining our situation, we didn't receive the warmest welcome. While we didn't expect all business to stop just for us, we at least hoped for a smile and some information to put us at ease. Instead, we were told that we had to make an appointment to meet the vet to have any questions answered. So, the search continued. The third veterinary clinic on our list turned out to be the one... located a bit further from our home than the others, (The Parkland Veterinary Hospital). We were initially hesitant to consider it because it was situated in an upscale neighborhood, and we thought we might be priced out of their services. However, we understand that the quality of services is often commensurate with the prices charged, and we're passionate about providing the best care for our Rocky. So, we decided, if this turned out to be the one, and their services are a bit more than we were used to, we will just tighten our budget a bit to make it happen. As soon as we walked into the office, Laurie, the receptionist, greeted us with a warm smile and a friendly "can I help you?" My wife was already at the other end of the waiting room, chatting with a customer and smiling away at what she was being told. (A good sign - LOL) While we continued chatting, Laurie handed me some information about Parkland Vet. Suddenly, Garey, the office manager and co-founder appeared from a back room with a smile and an introduction, offering even more assistance and help. Garey, my wife were chatting when we were briefly interrupted by another customer who approached us, excused herself, and shared how fantastic Parkland Veterinary is and how much she appreciated the staff and loved the doctors. I know this is getting a bit long-winded, so I'll cut to the chase. We made the appointment. And it was all that we suspected and expected from our investigatory visit a week prior. All the staff, Dr. Paredes and her assistants were one nicer than the next. The examination by Dr. Paredes was beyond words—friendly helpful, informative, caring & comforting. We were left with the security & confidence that Dr. Paredes, Garey, Laurie, and all the staff of Parkland Veterinary Hospital is Rocky's new care facility. (A Bright 5 Stars)"

"We recently moved to the area and needed a new primary vet for our dogs. We are in the middle of dealing with a pre existing medical condition with our dog that is currently a frustrating unsolved mystery. Dr.Paredes has been absolutely fantastic!!! She dove right into a complicated situation and has began helping us try to figure out a diagnosis. She has gone above and beyond even communicating directly with our dogs neurologist to share findings. She takes the time to call you directly to throughly go over test results and is fully hands on in the office even if you are there for just a quick follow up. Dr.Paredes truly cares for the health of your pet and it beamed from the moment we met her. We appreciate how much she is helping our dog fight for an answer, it means the world to us! We are very thankful to have found her no matter what the outcome ends up being for our dog"

"This veterinarian is so efficient from the time I called to the time left. I did not have to wait not even a minute to see the doctor . She was extremely thorough with my bunny. It's rare for an ordinary vet to see rabbit and she is extremely thorough. I am happy I took my baby here. She is now part of their family. Thank you Parkland Veterinary Hospital."
