"Dr. Mike is beyond amazing. Over my many years in the pet industry I've taken pets to dozens and dozens of different vets - and Dr Mike is at the very top of the list. He takes the time to cover every thing thoroughly, and never makes you feel rushed. He gives you all the options and information, with no judgements or pressure. He knows the tricks, like how to save a little money on supplies and things like that. He listens to your concerns, and was happy to discuss information I found or questions I had. And we always feel like our pets were each valued. We've had numerous emergencies, and aging pets that the entire staff got to know by name since they were in so much. From squeezing us in last minute for surgery to the staff staying late when it was unexpectedly time to say goodbye, they really do amazing things that show they are really only in it because they care. Downside is - when you are the best, you are going to be very very busy! It can be much harder to get a hold of someone on the phone, or to get an appointment. Back in their old building, I happily waited 3-4 hours a few times to try to get seen. The wait was always worth it. Now that they've really settled into their new building, it's been much easier to get in the past 8 months or so. And waits have been super short. I'm amazed at how much this has improved! I mean when you find a vet that mentions looking forward to a visiting various pet food factories while traveling on various family vacations, you know he's a keeper."
