Whether you are an experienced angler or just starting out, we have everything you need for a successful day of fishing. From tackle, rods, reels, clothing, hats, sunglasses, bait, ice, hooks, and terminal tackle, we have it all. We carry top brands such as Penn, Shimano, Daiwa, and more, as well as discounted wholesale products.
Our knowledgeable staff with over 30 years of experience are here to assist you with anything you need. We also have a second location at the St. Petersburg Pier downtown, offering hooks, weights, lures, frozen bait, drinks, snacks, and more. Brands like St. Croix, Okuma, Savage Gear, and Ugly Stik are also available at our Pier Shop.
Whether you're a beginner or an advanced angler, Gator Jim's Tackle is your one-stop shop to get you out on the water. Our main shop's hours are Monday through Saturday from 8:00am to 7:00pm and Sunday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, while the Pier Shop is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00am to 8:00pm and Sunday from 10:00am to 7:00pm. "I have never gone fishing before but my little niece was visiting and is a cracker Jack at it. I googled fishing gear near me and we found gator Jim’s tackle. We were greeted by a Friendliest guys. Who clearly love,what they do. And want everybody who comes into the store to love it too. We have the nicest experience. So much so that I wanted to come back as soon as possible. Unfortunately, we had to because did something stupid and needed a crash course fishing 101. All in all I would never go to Walmart or any of those big stores again this is all you need.
