"Initially, I thought jointing this theatre as an actor was a good idea, but over only the course of a year, I have been proven wrong. The artistic director is glad to use and mistreat the people of the community by holding them to professional standards, while refusing to consider pay. While most productions come out alright, the mismanagement and miscommunication happening at this business recently have been completely unprofessional. Edit: would just like to add, I had to drop out of a show 2 weeks after rehearsals started, and I communicated the reason why, have been texting with the artistic director ever since, and was just now told months later because of this I’m being recast for something later in the year. You think they would’ve said that when I had to leave the prior show, but no they just let me think for 3 months that I would be working on a different project. I found from others at the theatre this creative director claims she could not get a hold of me, except there are months of texts back and forth saying otherwise. Only volunteer your time here if it’s a production you have always really wanted a chance to be in, otherwise, it’s a huge time sink as a professional."

"My husband and I went to The Laboratory Theater of Florida in Ft Myers tonight to see Misery. The actors playing Annie Wilkes (Lauren Miller), Paul Sheldon (Ryan Adair) and Buster (Scott Carpenter) were absolutely amazing!!! If you're in the area definitely check it out!!!"

"Saw “Misery” at the Lab Theatre last night. It was my first time to this theatre and it did not disappoint. An excellent production with excellent acting by the three people in it. The tension between Paul and A_ _ ie kept me on the edge of my seat. Can’t wait to come back again!!!"
