"This upcoming season looks very interesting. Definitely, a adult move to change my social activities from night clubs and bars to dinner and a show. Looking forward to the 2024 season!! * The performer were very passionate and convincing. Overall production A+ ** Staff can be a little judgey if you're not their expected attendees. But, the theater manager took care of everything."

"I absolutely love this theater. Everything I've seen so far has been great. The actors, music, decorations, and audio are all very professional. Every visit is a joy. The theater itself is beautiful and cozy, you can see the stage well from every seat. I feel very fortunate to have this beautiful little theater in Sarasota. I definitely recommend it to everyone."

"Loved working as an electrician and putting up amazing shows! There is so much forethought and planning that goes into what you see on stage. The crew give their all, and the actors have been professional and extremely talented. Next time you are at a show, try to pay attention to the little details added, the shop is full of artisans who all bring such wonderful talent to the technical elements of the show. My only complaint is HR. I was verbally attacked by one of my crew and even though I am union, I wasn’t protected and decided to leave."

"Always good productions. Chicken and Biscuits was very funny and highly recommended. Other productions such as Cabaret and Silent Skies were well done. The smaller Cooper theater does good shows by the conservatory students. The last one, An Inspector Calls, was outstanding. Tickets for the Cooper are very reasonable. Just saw (December 24) Crazy for You, a musical by Ken Ludwig with music by the Gershwins. The acting, set design, and dancing, especially tap, was incredible! A very enjoyable play that runs 2.5 hours with one intermission. In my opinion, this is the best play I have seen at the Mertz in years. An incredible production that should not be missed!! Closing on January 4th."

"Loved the seating and theatre. My only complaint isn't of the theatre itself, but the set of lights turning left into it. We were the seventh car in line to turn into the main boulevard of the theatre and we had to sit through three red lights before we could finally turn in. It made us a few minutes late for the show."
