"Karen Nelson at Day Adjusting was our public adjuster. Day ADJUSTING was recommended to me through some work colleagues that had used them. When Karen came into the picture we, as most here, were arguing with everyone. My flood insurance initially stated that we were not in a natural disaster. That is just one example of the out of control situation we were facing. Enter Karen, knowledgeable, confident and kind. Despite the fact that the insurance company knew less than she did and she had to wade through their lack of navigation to ultimately complete our claim. She promptly answered or returned every call, email and text. I honestly don't know how she did it. I was just one of the nut cases that were counting on her for our future; so can you imagine all the fanatic people he fielded every day. "UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE You still refuse to acknowledge I paid Vogel Roofing for the tarp job. I have the cancelled check. REMINGTON HUGGINS was YOUR pick for a lawyer NOT mine. The “pocketed money” you refer to was for pool repairs (over $15000) and house painting which you neglected to pursue on my behalf… I’d leave zero stars if I could…Blake Day was SO accommodating until he got his first check…then he was impossible to get a hold of…he told us his services would cost us nothing out of our pocket but every time an insurance check was offered his hands took money…we had to hire a lawyer on our own to get a settlement…guess his hand-picked law firm couldn’t be bothered to communicate with my insurance company…today (months after MY lawyer got me a settlement) I get an email from Day’s lawyers stating we should go to court because the insurance company hasn’t replied. Really? NOW you’re communicating with me? STAY FAR AWAY FROM DAY ADJUSTING. I just read your response…”expose” my full name? I’m not trying to hide like Blake with no communication. I DID NOT pocket $24000…you took your $10,000 up front BEFORE I EVEN GOT A SETTLEMENT CHECK. Then you proceeded to take 10% from another check. I submitted my estimate from Target Roofing to the insurance company…they came back with a low ball figure so I hired an attorney to get me the full amount I submitted. REMINGTON HUGGINS was the attorney YOU recommended…I didn’t get his name on a whim. FYI I have a cancelled check for the “ small mom and pop roofing company”…they got paid. I resent your slanderous and libelous implication. I guess that’s expected from you."

"This was such a great experience. Replacing a roof and dealing with UPC going out of business in the state of Florida in the middle of the claim without the guidance of Jason would have ended badly. Instead it was a fantastic experience and I would recommend Day Adjusting to EVERYONE!"

"It's unfortunate that insurers force the necessity for companies like this but thank goodness they are here to help. I wouldn't say they made the process easy or quick, it is neither, but that is not Day's fault. Their diligence and thoroughness was instrumental in holding my insurer accountable for my claim.
