The Stockyard is Tampa Bay's premier honky tonk, located at 1916 U.S. Highway 19 in Holiday, Florida. We bring Southern hospitality and country music to the Bay, with the hottest DJs playing the newest country hits and performances by local and national artists. Our 18,000 square foot venue welcomes guests 18 and older, offering line dance classes Tuesday through Saturday at 7:30PM with the best instructor in Tampa Bay. Our spacious 3,000 square foot dance floor ensures plenty of room to show off your moves and be the center of attention. "I love it here! I’ve been coming the last month every Tuesday and it’s HELLA fun!!! I never thought I’d be line dancing but it’s SO easy to learn here. Every Tuesday night they do beginner line dancing. The instructor is amazing, as is the DJ. All of the staff have been nothing short of wonderful. The atmosphere is fun and feels homey. Also, they have had some great concerts here. I periodically check their Facebook to see who’s coming. It’s so much better than having to drive to Tampa or St. Pete to see a show and it feels so much more like home."
"So much fun! I was skeptical at first because my husband dragged me here (he’s going through a big country phase right now), but it was a blast! There were line dancing classes (very hard) in the beginning of the night and then he fun continued after that. The beginner classes are on Tuesdays. Everyone was very kind and helpful in teaching us. There was some hip hop songs mixed in there too! There are drinks, but no food so plan accordingly. Definitely worth the drive!"
"Ok I am a bit old for this place but it was fun anyway! Great line dancing lessons taught by a fearless leader! Not once did he express doubt that us older people could remain upright! Bartenders are friendly and attentive and plenty of room to sit . Weekends it can be a bit packed but everyone behaves and has fun."
