Maslak’s Black Belt Academy, located at 1990 Southeast Federal Highway in Stuart, Florida, is dedicated to "Improving Our Community One Black Belt at a Time". Our institution offers a range of classes for all ages, from Little Dragons (ages 3-6) to Karate Kids (ages 7-13) and Adults (ages 14 & up). We teach the Oh Ryung Hon style of martial arts, which incorporates a mixture of different styles for a balanced defense. "Jason and Amy are masters of both Karate and running their business. Let me expand. Students are held to a graduating standard of compliance and skill that grows with their age and experience. This is not unfamiliar in martial arts however the way the staff here at GMAR have been trained to treat each client shines through. When one of my kids was struggling to achieve the skills needed to advance before a deadline the Sensei came to me personally and asked if she could spend extra time after class to help my son advance. Experiences like this are common in the dojo. The business is run on word of mouth among local families and individual experiences. Everyone has wonderful things to say about the staff and also the dojo itself. While your little ones are in class the waiting room is where you will be sitting. They have done a wonderful job making the seating comfortable and plentiful. There is even a high top bar style seating area where older kids can do homework, or you can order a soft drink or coffee from Jason. Rest assured, the time parents spend in here while their kids are in class is calm, clean, and practically restful. You will also be provided with access to a complete online training program so you can review and learn technique at home. Amy and Jason are stars in their own right as they take you through each Level in a organized video series."
