"I love this place so much!! Taking the 10 week course has taught me life changing skills that will last a life time. My instructor Kiko was absolutely amazing, and so is Sarah!! They worked with us so professionally and even in the kick boxing class they took my lack of stamina into consideration and never pushed me to far (lol)! Kiko and Sarah make you feel so comfortable and are so friendly that it makes coming to class so much more enjoyable. This place is an 11/10 in my eyes! I will recommended this place to anyone that is looking into taking self defense :)"

"It has always been a life goal of mine to learn self defense. I decided last year I wasn’t waiting any longer and I enrolled in the 10 week C.O.B.R.A. Self Defense Academy! This was the best decision I made and as a result my life has transformed for the better. My instructor, Kiko, made every self defense class worthwhile because he was passionate, dedicated, motivated, and knowledgeable! He was very thorough when demonstrating self defense moves/situations and how to approach different scenarios. He would constantly ask if we had any questions or needed further clarification on a move. I learned how to get out of choke holds and bear hugs, how to defend myself against a knife and gun. How to use my verbals when I am in different scenarios and how crucial those verbals are to saving my life. How to defend myself if I was on the floor and the assailant was on top of me. I learned critical maneuvers when it comes to punches and how anchoring the arm was vital to avoiding getting punched, stabbed, or shot. He challenged me to think critically and adapt to each scenario. He always made sure everyone was on the same page and understood everything. When I felt discouraged or scared, Kiko would always use words of encouragement to snap me out of fears and doubts. There was so much more I learned and I am just brushing the surface. I highly recommend taking the C.O.B.R.A Self Defense Academy. You are investing in yourself and your life. What you learn in this academy will prepare and save you for what you encounter in the real world.
