Nike Clearance Store - Florida City

"TOXIC ENVIRONMENT/MANAGERS I have recently just quit after a year and a half and have finally built up the courage to talk about this store. I would like to preface this by saying not all the manager were bad! In fact, Jimmy, Sha’ron, Queen, Reyes, and Aria are great leaders and really do care for their employees. They are mainly why I stayed as long as I did, even pushing through pregnancy. However, there are some managers whose words and actions really took me aback. Juan, Teresa, and Heather were amongst the managers I found myself to be really disappointed in as the end of my employment came nearer. For instance, Juan is notorious for and is known in the store amongst the girls as being a creep. Making many of the female employees uncomfortable Atleast once. He has been caught staring at employees breasts, and butts several times, and has even made comments about me to a male employee stating that said employee could “do better” and making comments on who he thought I was as a woman, even though this man never really had or tried to have a conversation with me until after I had put in my two weeks. In regards to Teresa, I feel like she does try to be a good manager however there is not one thing that you can tell her in confidence that she will not tell another employee. Not even manager, but EMOLOYEE. I have had employees come up to me asking me about situations or knowing information that only she would know about and most of the time, she would be named as the one who spoke of me. Other employees have also had similar things happen to them because of her. With Heather, she is really only there for you if she likes you. Favoritism runs very strongly in this store, and if you do something she deems wrong in her eyes, you will no longer get the same support or opportunities as before, or as another employee might. I would speak more on her but to keep this respectful as possible, I will not. Lastly, there was one more Manager that had disappointed me/hurt my feelings. Shayna had her moments of being supportive and could be someone you could speak to however she has a very strong faith, which could result in you being judged. I do think religion is a beautiful thing and I have faith myself so that is something I would never discriminate against her for. However, she has called me a satanist, and that I’m walking down a bad road in life, not based off conversation or who I am but what I looked like. As a manager and as a human being, I shouldn’t have been judged in her eyes especially when she never had any real conversations with me up until recently. I hope that before I left, she was able to see who it is that I really am, as being judged in the way she judged me really hurt my feelings. All in all, working in this store will get you judged based off what you look like, and who they think you are, rather than you work ethic."

"Very rude “ manager” by the name of Shaena. Purchased shoes that were defective (piece of the sole was chipped and coming off). and she did not try to help. All she said is that they weren’t defective and that she couldn’t do the refund. When the receipt says they can refund defective shoes. I always buy tons of merchandise from there until today. Never again. Horrible customer service"

"This place needs better management. I tried to return some shoes bought online. There’s a line outside the store just to enter.. Just one line with over 40 people. I asked if I can go in just to return something. They told me I had to make that long line. There should be two lines one for shopping and one for returns. Makes no sense to wait for so long. Every large brand name store has a separate line just for returns."

"Great place to shop with great prices. Everyone is knowledgeable on the products, the staff is very helpful and they go the extra mil to support the customer. The store is clean, very well organized allowing you to find everything you are looking for. We visited the store during the morning and there were very few customers making it easy to shop."
