"I got a annual fee from Amped Fitness after canceling a few months ago. They sent me to the billing department, and the billing department stated they never received a cancelation from Amped Fitness. I called Amped Fitness back, and they stated (as of my call yesterday (02/19/2024) my membership was canceled. When I canceled a few months ago, the first week of January. I was told that I would receive my refund back yesterday, so I called back the following day to see if the refund process had started, I ended up speaking to another person, and they told me I won't be receiving my refund, because of the time I canceled in January. When I was never told this to begin with. This is a $63.88 fee that I was charged with no warning. Instead I was told (it's stated everywhere) by the employee working at the time when I called. This is doing people a disservice, and I truly feel robbed. I am a 25 year old working day to day to change my life, and this is not a small amount of money to lose. This is gas, or groceries that I am now missing out on, because of the lack of communication from this facility. I do not recommend to start a membership with this place unless your able to lose out on your funds, because you may not know what charge or fee they will slap you with."

"I’ve been a member now for 6 months . I have no issues with this gym it’s fully equipped it has everything you need . And 24/7 access you can’t beat it. Like every other gym it gets packed at certain times. They have so much equipment that you can modify your workout as you go so even if it’s packed there is always something available for you to do."

"I am writing this review as I am waiting for one of two working stair masters to become available. There are 4, by the way. I actually like a “grimy” gym. A little rust on the barbells or weights, creaking of the machines, some holes in the walls.. all that is awesome and I personally prefer that type of environment over a pristine and shiny gym. What is unacceptable, however, is the shear amount of broken equipment in this facility. It doesn’t even feel like an exaggeration to say that half the gym is unusable. I understand that things are going to break here and there. However, they should be fixed promptly and with a sense of urgency. Their current repair process here (or total lack thereof) is unacceptable. It’s so bad that even the ONLY water fountain goes out for several weeks in a row (and yes, it is currently broken too) . What is my annual fee for? It clearly isn’t being used for repairs or maintenance. 0/5 I do not recommend this gym."

"Where do I begin. This gym has a lot of potential, but unfortunately, every single time I go, it is packed to what feels like max capacity. A good chunk of equipment is constantly breaking down or not working and be prepared to wait to use exercise machines at all times of the day….There is a room downstairs where you can exercise that has a broken AC and it has been like this for months with no one fixing it. My membership was sold to me on the promise that a babe cave was under construction and would be opening soon. That was six months ago and it never happened. Dumb bells are always a disaster, and nothing is organized or put back where it should be. The front desk is run by a bunch of college guys that are pretty rude and useless. Whenever I ask a question or need some thing, I am greeted with arrogant attitudes. You definitely need to invest in training your staff with customer service skills… Or maybe just social skills. I am only here because there are no other options in this area. Really wish a higher quality gym would open. If you have other options, take them."

"I will do my best to be honest and not be overall biased. I’ve been going to Amped fitness for almost 6 months. When I first went it was a very good experience, mainly due to the management at the time. The gym equipment was managed well, the gym was clean, people were mostly polite. When Rob the former manager left, things just fell apart. Equipment took weeks if not months to fix, there was worn out tools, management could care less about customer happiness and satisfaction, people overall seemed to be more displeased with the service provided. The customer service was hyper-rude, arrogant, and ignorant of how you treat people that pay your salary. Now, not all the staff was poor but employees that I knew who were polite and kind, left or took different hours. So depending on what day or time you came in would decide the customer service experience. I could go on but I’ll end it here. Not worth the value at all. It’s particularly sad because the gym ought to be a positive place for people to grow and connect. So…go at your own peril."
