"I was looking for a karate school for my 5 yr old and narrowed it down to 2 schools this being one of them. Website says call or text for more info. As a mom of a 19mth old and 5yr old yall know how noisy and chaotic it gets so sometimes texting is more convenient, i texted on Thursday Nov 9th at 3:14pm and called on Friday and left voicemail. Today is Monday 11/13 and still no response to neither the text nor voicemail. I no longer care for a response since this was my sign to choose the other school but wow i was disappointed."

"I was becoming a couch potato and my son needed discipline. Thank God for Kirukawa! The instructors are well trained and will hold you to task but they are also patient and very uplifting. As a low ranking belt I feel comfortable there as I learn a new and challenging motor pattern. At 44 I don’t have visions of being the next “Karate Kid” but in 18 weeks my flexibility has improved by leaps and bounds and most importantly, my back feels so much better. I sincerely recommend this facility. FYI, if you start, you won’t want to stop! It feels great being energized and learning just how much my body is capable of doing! Jump in a Tuesday night class with Sensei Reed. You won’t regret it."

"This is a great place to go, the best in town. I have trained under Carmen for over 15 years, and she helped me become a national champion and then go on to be an international one as well. There is a great after school program for your kids, and adults love it as well. They teach you true karate , and also make it enjoyable at the same time. You and/or your kids will learn true self defense.. There is a great history involved, with our grand masters coming all the way over from Japan. This is the real deal!"
