"I'm writing this Google review to express my disappointment with the customer service provided by your company and Zane, my agent. My recent experience has been less than satisfactory. Midway through my policy term, I noticed an unexpected and significant increase in my premium, more than doubling the initial amount. Surprisingly, I received no prior notification from my agent, Zane, about this substantial change. It wasn't until I received notification from the insurance company, attempting to collect the additional amount from my mortgage company, that I became aware of the issue. This lack of communication and transparency is concerning, resulting in me unintentionally paying more than double my premium for approximately six months. When I reached out to Zane for clarification, his response was disheartening. He mentioned similar premium increases for multiple clients with this insurance company, leading him to switch to a different company, unaware of the clause allowing mid-policy hikes. While this experience has been frustrating, it prompted me to find a new agent. I'm pleased that my new agent is highly detail-oriented, providing a comprehensive understanding of policy options and the importance of vigilance in monitoring changes. I hope this feedback encourages the company to address these issues promptly and improve communication practices with policyholders.
