"So much fun on our vacation! Lorna is THE BEST! We were vacationing on Captiva Island and drove to the area to visit family for the day. We had heard about how great the studio was so we stopped in Hands on Art Gallery, so the kids could make a souvenir coconut to take home...what a blast they had! Our boys are 12 and 15 and they had more fun painting the coconuts than we could have imagined. It was a great way to stay out of the blazing sun for a 1/2 day. I painted one, as well, and it was fun and easy to do and turned out great! Lorna, the owner, was so helpful and patient and enthusiastic with all of us. She is truly a natural at teaching kids how to do art and showing us step by step how to do the projects. The studio is so cool with all kinds of mediums and art projects that kids and adults can do-we will definitely be back as soon as we come back to Florida!"
"Lorna and her gallery are amazing!!! My 14 year old daughter and I walked in shortly after she opened in July. We are now so addicted that my daughter volunteers with Lorna!! She is an amazing teacher and imaginative. I am not an artist but I have already created a fluid painting, wine glass and soon a Christmas decoration!!! So far with her instructions, everything has turned out beautiful! Kid friendly and adult relaxing!!!"
