"More than a bit irritated with Circle of Friends right now. I opted to have my son see one of their counselors as they were recommended via the school. For about 6 months every week my son has been visited by this counselor. I’ve rearranged my schedule at times to meet as I knew she got paid per client and that canceling disrupted her day. Counselor stated that meds would probably be beneficial. I agreed. I scheduled an appointment with his original Psychiatrist which took about 3 weeks as they had to wait for an opening and for insurance clearance. The counselor said that she had clients that were currently being seen at CMHC for meds and being seen by her for counseling , a lie. I finally made it to my sons appt on October 10,2018. In the middle of the appt they canceled due to they cannot treat him while associated with Circle of Friends. I immediately called her and she assured me otherwise and she would talk to her supervisor. I had already missed work for this appt and ubered to his school to pull him out to go to the doctor.I asked for her to sign discharge papers so I could proceed with his treatment. After days she called back and gave me the option of going to their psychiatrist. I told her I was going to continue with CMHC and if it didn’t work out I would go back to them. Never mind she’s never brought up me seeing their psychiatrist beforehand and I didn’t even know they had an office until then. Now an appt time was made for our original time for his counselor to come on Tuesday and get whatever she needed signed from me and email the release/ discharge papers to his provider. She canceled right before appt and rescheduled the next day only to reschedule for the following day and arrive late. I thought she cared about my son but evidently not because as soon as he was no longer going to be a patient of hers we were discarded. I asked multiple times to have documents brought to me , printed or even emailed and expressed it was very important to have done before his 1pm appt today 10/19. I even reached out right before the appt and she said the documents would be there. She knows we are missing work and school and yet wasted time taking from us. My sons providers reached out multiple times without any solution. If you value your time and money or want results I would recommend staying far away from Circle of Friends. Hopefully Vicky who handles their records or Jennifer who was his counselor will get the ball rolling and contact me as I’ve reached out and no one has responded."
