"Similar story to the documentary “Take care of Maya”. My postpartum family member was coerced by Dr. Chambers to have her baby separated to another hospital at a time when parents are most vulnerable. The threat was to involve legal authorities based on a common, healthy newborn feature, and they were forced to sign a document allowing the hospital to basically do whatever they deemed “necessary”. Baby had a clean bill of health otherwise, and after the dr threw the kitchen sink of unnecessary, invasive tests at the newborn (several lacerations), everything was normal as argued. The follow up pediatrician after hospital discharge had the same experience with this Dr holding babies against parent consent. This doctor has a history of this behavior and hospital staff enables it given they knew and never stepped in to help. This is why women birth away from controlling and coercive drs and hospitals. Hospital staff have been attempting to appease her while justifying the traumatic and highly unnecessary situation - threatening to take a newborn baby from its mother and father based on nothing and this is not the first time. Do not bring your children to this doctor unless you want the risk of losing them."

"I would highly recommend Dr. Chambers NEVER touch your child ever. She is the absolute worst doctor I have ever met. She evaluated my newborn baby in the hospital after she was born. She cleared her and was about to leave. We had a question regarding eye movement and instead of instructing us that babies often have eye rolling and can’t control eye movement at a day old she over diagnosed and over treated my baby ending with unnecessary eeg, mri, and ultrasounds. She knows nothing. There is nothing worse than an ignorant doctor over treating. My baby was taken away and transferred to joe d. I fought as hard as I could being a nurse and my mom instinct knowing she was okay but they transferred her ran a bunch of unnecessary testing that of course all came back normal. Lots of stress on baby and mom all because dr chambers is a sham and ignorant doctor."
