"We just had our first visit today for our sweet 11 yr old chihuahua Basil who was sadly just diagnosed with melanoma by our primary veterinarian. Being devastated with the terminal diagnosis we frantically researched the best oncologist we could find for Basil and were very impressed with the Pet Cancer Care Group reviews and Dr. Villamil's credentials. Our visit was good considering the inevitable outcome we are facing. We were greeted today by the doctor's assistant Daryl (sp?) who impressed us with his knowledge of Basil's recent medical history and surgery. We then met with Dr. Villamil and he was so kind to answer all of our questions, some being answered twice as we tried to wrap our heads around all this. Anyway, we felt very comfortable with Dr. Villamil even under these circumstances. He was clearly experienced, knowledgeable and had wonderful bedside manners. We couldn't have a better doctor to support us in this journey for our little one and for us."
