"I would have Dr Edwards deliver all of my children if I could. I got lucky when he was in rotation in Tampa at St Joseph’s. I had a c section and my second that wasn’t by him showed me what I liked about his personality. I could hear the OB who was irritated before my second c section ( having contractions as checking in told desk they sent me to another area) then she was all nice to my face but I already heard her and was in a bad mood for the birth of my child. Dr Edwards doesn’t do a lot of small talk but he’s not fake or two faced. He is to the point which I prefer. And he’s a great surgeon. To me the ability matters more than bedside manner, then when I had my second experience I truly missed Dr Edwards. Everyone has different needs. But if we are comparing skill hands down he is the best. He delivered my almost 10 lb son who was breech a quickly and I barely had a scar. He held my baby up and quick as he could so I could see him without me asking. And he had a great music selection playing. He kept us posted with what was going on. He knows what he is doing. I would definitely use him again. I see upset reviews but seriously. No competition."

"I don’t recommend this MD at all , first of all Dr. Eric J. Edwards didn’t introduced himself, no hello no good evening nothing. very rude and had NO sympathy for my daughter when she passed out during procedure, I told him that she passed out and to give me something for her to smell to bring her back, he still moved slowly and careless, when we were leaving he was at his desk and my daughter said thank you Dr., and he look up with a serious face and no answer at all."
