SouthWest Aquatics, located at 205 Windermere Road in Winter Garden, Florida, offers a variety of swim programs for children aged 6 months and up. Enroll in a PediaSwim Course to teach infants appropriate swimming postures, or join the STARS Swim Team for stroke development. Our experienced Stroke Development Instructors make learning fun and help swimmers improve their skills in freestyle, breaststroke, butterfly, and backstroke.
With two heated pools, including a competition pool and an enclosed teaching pool, SouthWest Aquatics provides a comfortable and safe environment for swimmers of all ages. Whether you're looking for basic training, maintenance programs, or refresher courses, our dedicated staff is committed to instilling independence and self-confidence through the joy of swimming.
Adult lessons are also available for those looking to learn to swim, improve stroke proficiency, or train for triathlons. "My daughter has been enrolled in survival swimming classes at Southwest with Shannon before she was 2 years old! It has been this best thing I could have enrolled her in living in Florida. She can even float on her own now. The office staff are so friendly and Shannon is amazing! If you are even thinking about it— you should do it! It’s so worth it to see that my two year old can float on her own and starting to hold her breath underwater especially living in Florida where there’s pools everywhere!"
"We 100% recommende Southwest Aquatics! We have had three children go through their pediaswim course with Coach Priscilla and Coach Greg and now we continue to go for maintenance and stroke lessons. It is money well spent. We have three little fish now that absolutely love swimming and my husband and I have the peace of mind of knowing they know what to do if they ever get in a situation that could otherwise be scary. The facilities are incredible and well maintained. The office ladies are so accommodating in working with schedules. Our son can’t wait to someday be on the swim team!"
