"Based on my personal experience with him, Mr. Lance Mulonas, the owner of this business, displayed a complete lack of moral character and acted in bad faith. I wonder how he's supposed to help instill positive values into the kids in his care when he does not have those values himself. If he still offers the "prepay for camp" deal, I would be careful, because in my case he did not keep his word about giving me a refund if my child did not attend camp. I sent my daughter to their summer camp in 2019, back when they were still located in Deltona. Although there always seemed to be too many kids vs. the number of staff, my daughter seemed to be doing okay. In Jan 2020 Mr Lance Mulonas reached out to me about prepaying for 2020 summer camp. We discussed what would happen if plans changed and my daughter didn't come, and he said we would be refunded. Well, COVID happened and my daughter did not go to camp. I reached out to him in May 2020 for a refund. He appealed to me to be patient since his business had taken a hit from all the cancellations. That was understandable so I said I would give him some time. I reached back out in Sept and Oct via texts, no response from him. In Feb 2021, nearly a year after I had paid him $400, he told me he had to move and was still recouping those costs. Long story short, he continued to give me the runaround (business was slow, he had to move again, he doesn't have the money). I was patient for a while, but after 2 years it started to become ridiculous. Fast forward to 2023 (3 years later), and he still had not paid me back. I even offered to do installments to make it easy on him. I went by the school and could clearly see they were doing okay, and I came to realize he just did not want to pay, not that he couldn't. So I sued him in small claims court just for the principle of it. This is money he concedes that he owes, but clearly is not interested in paying it back, which one can make a case is stealing. Not surprisingly, he did not show up to court since he has no defense (all his texts to me clearly say he owes the money) and the judge awarded a summary judgment in my favor. My next step is figuring out how to enforce the judgment against him, likely via a lien. The sad part is, if he had acted in good faith and made an effort to try to pay something back, I could have had him pay half and be done with it. The point is not $400, but about doing the right thing. Mr. Mulonas did not do that in my case. Shame on him."

"Our girls attended All Star Karate and enjoyed their time there. Our oldest went all the way to becoming a 2nd degree black belt. She always had the best time! Our youngest stuck in for a while, but it just wasn’t her thing- as each kids is different and has a different experience. Our experience with the owners has always been great & they have always been generous."

"*PLEASE READ BEFORE SENDING YOUR KIDS TO KARATE OR SUMMER CAMP* i have a set of 4 year old twins. we are currently homeless living in a hotel. I sent thwm here at the beginning of summer because i could not find any affordable child care i could send them too that would allow me to keep my job. I found this place through a co-worker and was so elated as it saved me from losing my job over summer and it gave my kids an outlet over the summer as well. I paid $300 for 2 weeks in advance but after week 1 my kids were expressing to me peopls were STEALING their food that we are required to bring as this facility DOES NOT provide meals for their LENGTHY PICK UP/ DROP OFF hours (6am-7pm). I obviously brought it up to the “instructors” to which they told me they have a problem with kids switching snacks but to their knowledge nobody is stealing food from others….this became an everyday thing and me being homeless it was frustrating. They also do not have specified times for the kids to eat IT IS A FREE FOR ALL WHENEVER THEY WANT. Flash a couple of days i pick my sons up and to my surprise my son has a band aid cover his eyelid and when i asked what happened i was told he was kicked in the eye by an autistic child, NOTHING against the autistic child but instructors she be able to intervene in an incident like that. After we leave i notice his eye already was looking a i little bluish so i took the band aid of and my sons eyelid WAS BUSTED. That should've been the point when i pulled them but i sent them every day of week 1 i paid for. The next day i sent them with some toys because they were expressing they were bored and that was a little confusing to me since they are suppose to be learning KARATE and other curriculum, but whatever i let them take the toys because i figured it was comfort for them. I pick them up and to no surprise my children are telling me they cant find certain toys and that these kids purposely hid it and broke it. Meanwhile the kids that my children are telling me that broke it were in a group mocking me and my children as we were standing there and even went as far to call me trash and when MR.LANCE heard it all he did was act like he didn't hear what he heard. My kids endured one last day at this HORRIBLE SUMER CAMP, when i picked them up my son was complaining about his hand hurting so i took a look at it and it did look pretty swollen compared to his other hand, we took him to urgent care the next day and his hand was indeed broken. When i spoke to the instructors they claimed they had NO KNOWLEDGE he hurt himself or how it happened. MR.LANCE and his daughter STEPHANIE do not run a PROPER BUSINESS and i WOULD NOT recommend spending your money. After our horrible experience i called Mrs. Stephanie to see what i could do about a refund for WEEK 2 i did not attend and she told me THEY DO NOT DO REFUNDS and she’d have to talk to her accountant but they could possibly give me CLASS CREDIT for my remaining balance and she would get back to me. SHE NEVER GOT BACK TO ME SO HERE IS THIS LOVELY REVIEW:) DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE IF YOU WANT THEM SAFE AND PROPERLY WATCHED. I even witnessed a little boy and girl brother and sister crying holding each other at the front of the facility waiting and looking for their mom, instructors did not care to comfort them or to contact their parents. I REPEAT DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE PLEASE."
