Gainesville HEMA is a Historical European Martial Arts institution located in Gainesville, Florida. We offer classes on German longsword and I.33 sword buckler techniques based on historical texts. Our group is open to beginners and experienced practitioners alike, with no equipment or experience required to join. Participants must be at least 13 years old and mature enough to handle a sword safely. We also offer solo lessons by appointment for a fee of $10.
