Kids' Minds Matter

Kids' Minds Matter is a health institution located at 9800 South Healthpark Drive in Fort Myers, Florida, United States. This institution is dedicated to addressing the Children’s Mental Health Epidemic in Southwest Florida and serving as advocates for children and families in need. With the support of the community, Kids' Minds Matter has raised over $2.2 million to improve mental and behavioral health services for children in the region.

Valerie Telemaque, a dedicated Mental Health Navigator at Golisano Children’s Hospital, works tirelessly to help families access the resources they need to overcome life's challenges. The institution recognizes the importance of addressing mental health issues in children and teenagers, as self-injury often begins in the preteen or early teen years.
