MD Now Urgent Care - North Miami

"We just had a horrible experience with their Surprise Billing. My son and I visited because of a throat sore. He just turned 19 and he is full time university student and I am his mother and responsible party. The clinic accepted the insurance Ambetter but we were seeing by an out-of-network doctor, Siddiqi S. They will not make us aware of that. MD Now only sent us a $408 bill and told me to do an appeal with Ambetter as if Saddiqi was an in-network doctor (which he was not) I followed their steps. MD Now told me that if Ambetter does not approve the appeal, they will do an adjustment as a walk-in paying out-of-pocket. Reality is that they sent my son to a collection agency. Our insurance got billed for labs and they collected the co-pay and the Dr. Siddiqi's fees from me. I ended up paying the $408 so they wouldn't ruined my son's credit and today they sent me a new bill of $139. I hope people thinks twice before visiting MD Now and being seeing by their out of Network Doctors. You know why?.. because I was billed $557, my insurance was billed more than $250 and If we walked in with out insurance, they would have charge me less than $300. How is that possible?.. I don't know. Ask MD Now, or go to a different office. If we are going to be seeing by their out-of-network doctors, why do they ask for your insurance? And did you know that their billing department has an option asking if you are an Attorney?.. I also wonder how many people has gone thru this unfortunate situation... how sad."

"Hello World, I wanted to express my disappointment based on the service that was provided to my pregnant wife that had came in due to the fact she had a fever. The sense of urgency was appalling and disorderly, she had waited two hours to see a doctor. While she waited they had refused to give her Tylenol which is a over the counter medication that any adolescent can buy from every and any Pharmacy, Gasoline and convenience store named under the sun. After they finally transitioned her to the room she had waited an extra 40 minutes to see the doctor. She was unfortunately tested positive for Covid, later the doctor had explained the list of prescriptions that were available at the Pharmacy. She had to remind the doctor that she was pregnant and was then there explained the lack of prior knowledge of her pregnancy and she also was advised to contact her OBGYN for further doctoral analysis. In conclusion, nothing was done for her except time wasted. Thankfully nothing was prescribed, if so we would've filed a high class lawsuit from our lawyers primarily based on a lack of communication from your team. Thank you."

"Everyone from the front desk, to the Doctor was very kind, cordial and knowledgeable. I had a great experience! The wait time was about 30 minutes which was faster than I expected! Thank you for all that you do!"

"Super unprofessional office. I arrived at the office and said I only had an hour and a half. The front desk assured me that I should be fine. They didn’t end up seeing me. I left and came back. When I got back two patients that came after me were seen before me. Staff was rude and didn’t care. The doctor apologized continuously even though it wasn’t his fault. Total waiting time was over 4 hours. Find another urgent care that actually cares about their patients."
