"Copy of the letter never answered: January 18, 2019 Dear Ms. Velez Gaetan: I’ve been trying to reach you by telephone since yesterday, but can’t seem to leave a message, to call me; regarding the miscommunication between Tower MRI, and Dr. Jackson’s office. After carefully verifying that TWO MRI results (upper and lower back), were to be hand carried to Dr. Jackson’s office, I spend the day on hold, or leaving messages that weren’t returned. The lower back MRI apparently wasn’t on the disc, nor sent to Jackson. The the day, and mileage to Telecom Park, were wasted. I want to make sure this type of wasted effort doesn’t happen again. So I am searching for a new doctor, hopefully one who can actually be reached for problems like this one. Moveover, I have noticed an attitude within your staff of young women; They seem to share this attitude of contempt for English speaking males; several times I have been treated rudely while in your office, while they chatted in Spanish. Yesterday, several times, I was hung up on. After hours, your answering service wouldn’t take a message, unless it was for a ‘medical emergency’. So I gave up! I want Humana to find a new doctor for me in Pinellas County, because I am moving next month anyway. They should likewise know about this problem, and help me to avoid it in the future. You should know that your staff is losing patients (if they happen to be male, or don’t speak Spanish), for you! Not your bedside manner, which has been pleasant; but your poor judgment in hiring women who are supposed to be ‘caregivers’, but may have chosen the wrong vocation."
