Orlando Hand Surgery Associates

"Never saw the Doctor, only a PA. Surgery scheduling was a nightmare. Waited nine days for them to call. I told the scheduler I was unfamiliar with Advent, their surgery procedures, locations, etc. They have no idea which Advent satellite is able to do an EKG. You’re on your own to locate and schedule all preliminary testing. I was told any satellite could perform the EKG, confirmed with Advent CentraCare that it could be done at the Hunter’s Creek location, made the appointment. I checked in, paid $51 and sat for an hour before the receptionist told me the Doctor could not do EKG’s at that location, at which time they refunded my $51. Referred me to a walk-in clinic far from my home. Called the scheduler to cancel the surgery. It’s near impossible to speak with anyone. Left message after message. I was told I could get a CD of my X-ray results and a printout for $25. I specifically told the associate that I could not get to the Celebration office until Tuesday. She said nothing about the office being closed. I showed up again on Wed. and was told CD’s are only printed “downtown.” Very combative, she was curt and rude. I’m glad I decided to have my surgery performed by Orlando Health. The process with this practice felt like drive-through surgery, very impersonal, not at all helpful."

"In and out with a great recommendation for remedy. Staff at front desk was pleasant and easy to speak with. Nurse that brought me back was ok- seemed busy so I won’t hold it against them. And the DR was amazing. I cannot wait for my follow up. Looking forward to finally having an establishment that I can count on."
