"I’ve experienced the phone issues as well, but my concern is with how unkempt the grounds are for a VA site. The parking garage is dimly lit during the day, so I’m sure it’s pitch black by the time staff gets off. It’s extremely dirty, rusty, full of leaves, wasp nests everywhere; I’m not really sure how the thing is still standing. The building itself isn’t well maintained either and it’s really a shame. Hopefully the operations here can/will be moved to the new Northside location once open."

"No one picks up the phone!!!! NEVER DO!! They are horrible with appointments too once someone finally gets ahold of you! “Can you come in for labs today“ oh okay ,so last minute I guess the VA in Jacksonville forgot PEOPLE HAVE LIVES SO IT IS IMPORTANT TO PICK UP AND CALL US BACK NOT WEEKS LATER AND SAY OH COME DO LABS. "Been going to this VA clinic for about 10 years now and now is the worst time to ever go there due to a particular nurse I never dealt with before from several weeks ago. He was very disrespectful, discriminating, prejudiced, rude. I just wonder if he treats other Veterans like he treated me last month or does he profile Veterans like myself? However, the PA I saw was an awesome provider showing lots of care and compassion as well as maintaining professionalism. This nurse, who also claims to be a fellow Navy Veteran, doesn’t deserve to be working for the VA with this type of behavior and conduct. If it wasn’t for the inappropriate experience with this nurse, they would receive a 5 Star rating."

"Physical Therapy Clinic - I am grateful I have had nothing but positive experiences with the VA in the Jacksonville area. I've done Phys Therapy for several issues over the years, but Southpoint PT clinic provided the best, most personalized regimen I've had. The Physical Therapist correctly diagnosed the root cause of the issue. My shoulder hurts significantly less than before with improved strength and range of motion. My forearm pain is also greatly reduced and I'm getting my grip strength back. Jason the tech knocked it out of the park, ensuring we covered all facets of strength and mobility.
