"Unfortunately this institute runs a complete monopoly on colorectal specialists in the area. They're terrible to deal with, somehow even the reception staff are the rudest in the industry. Not only that they simply ignore doctor referrals and never pick up the phone. Oh and they're backed up 6 weeks just to be seen after referal"

"Called around 30 times in different times during the course of the past two weeks. Left 3, voice messages. Tried to get someone to answer by clicking on surgery schedule twice. Guess what? They havent answered that either! Never ever something remotely close to this ever happened with a restaurant not to mention a healthcare facility!! Going through comments made me understand!!"

"I had an ER emergency and reached out to Dr. Dyke and The Colorectal Institute everyone from the front desk was so kind and welcoming as they scheduled me and we sorted through my new insurance. Office Manager stepped up and helped out resolving issue. Dr. Dyke is professional and knowledgeable. She listens and gives you straight, clear answers. Overall, an excellent experience in a crisis."

"I don't even want to rate this office and doctor (Dr. Dyke) 1 star because it was the WORST experience I have ever had and don't deserve ANY STARS. I work at Lee health for over 9 years and as a healthcare worker and someone with a health concern I'm blown away on how I was treated. The so called nurse that roomed me; I don't know if she was new or didn't know how to do her job but I had to explain my symptoms at least 5 different times to her (taking 30 mins to work me up), flipping through her stand of flash cards and her response was "I have to be able to tell the doctor a timeline/story and diagnosis and nothing you're saying is adding up, not making sense, let me go get a PA to help". I told her exactly what I was experiencing in the simplest terms. She comes back with the OFFICE MANAGER. I then explained my symptoms AGAIN and the office manager told the nurse take your computer into my office and we will finish this. THEN waited 45+ mins for the doctor to come in and SPEND 5 MINS with me. Didn't listen to anything I was saying, checked me and told me I was experiencing muscle spasms (which I am not) & to put my clothes back on and she'll come back. Her solution was a colonscopy, MRI and muscle floor therapy which I had ZERO symptoms to indicate any of those tests to be done. Charges me almost $200 and told me someone will call to schedule your testing. I called the office manager the next day and told her how upset I was that no one listened to me and what I was saying and wanted a second option from another doctor in the office. She said it would have to get approved from both parties and would call me back. I get a call 2 weeks later and she said that the other doctors agreed with Dr. Dyke and there was nothing more they could do for me. The fact that I was willing to PAY another doctor to look at me and they didn't want to is ridiculous. Dy. Dyke was HIGHLY recommended to me from multiple people and she has the worst bedside manners, not personable or listens to you and felt totally dismissed."
