"I had a pacemaker installed by another doctor. Bradenton Heart Center is my cardiologist. When I arrived 2 months after my surgery my Doctor came in looked at his computer and then asked, “ Who’s monitoring your pacemaker?” I said, “You mean you’re not??!!” I could have taken my own blood pressure and told them I feel fine and saved $35 copay."

"I had a VERY scary experience last year. My daughter called the EMT's, fearing I had a heart attack. After a quick eval, they chocked it up to "stress". (I had no stress in my life). A few hours later, my daughter again called the EMT's knowing I wasn't doing well. While sitting in the hall at Blake Hospital, for hours on end, Dr Zellner was called in & immediatedly asked for labs (to rule out a heart attack) & lo & behold, that's EXACTLY what happened. I had a heart attack!!! If not for him, I'm not sure where I'd be today!! At my subsequent office visits with Dr Zellner, he has been the most caring, understanding, & patient Doctor I've ever met. (& I have several Specialists, who NEVER seem to "listen" during my office visits). I highly recommend Dr Zellner & his Wonderful Office Staff & Nurses."

"Waited an hr . Doctor came in for less than 10 mins . Confusing consultation as we had a strange dialogue about my meds and my procedure .. which I hadn’t had ! He didn’t examine me . He ordered new meds as important to get LDL down when you’ve had a heart attack .. I hadn’t ! I mentioned that so he rushed off to check charts . I left . Confused and very annoyed . Next day we called the office who said he’d realized after I left that he’d had the wrong chart so called the pharmacy to change the meds BUT didn’t call me . Office manager PRESUMED someone had called us the next day . No … unprofessional , dangerous , sloppy behavior . After I went to my PCP … I was fine , all results ok no new meds needed . Then Dr Zellner called to say he was very busy and he apologizes but it’s all fixed now .. really ? Good job I didn’t pick up and take the meds prescribed for another patient and good job we called to check what the issue was rather than wait for a phone call from them . Not returning ."
