"After years of struggling with digestive issues I decided to seek professional help. I knew it would not be cheap to go to a specialist but I felt I needed to find answers to my problems. Dr. Demasi performed a colonoscopy. And I had one follow up visit with him. He basically told me he couldn’t help me. And everytime I went to his office or the surgery center I was charged and I paid. A year later I am still receiving invoices for the colonoscopy. I have spoken to several people in the office and they say it’s taken care of but months later they send me an invoice. Unorganized billing office and a “Dr” who can’t help."

"Would NOT recommend. I had an appointment with their PA to discuss having a colonoscopy. Upon checking in at the front desk, I was told to pay $60.00---$30 for seeing the PA, and $30 for the colonoscopy. BIG MISTAKE! After consulting with the PA, I decided to not have the procedure done. Awhile later, I received a phone message saying my colonoscopy was scheduled!! So, I let them know I decided not to go ahead with it, and requested that my $30 co-pay for the procedure be returned to me. That has been several months ago and despite having made several phone calls, one handwritten note, a personal visit to the office, and a returned "signature confirmation" letter, I still have not been refunded my $30. This is an unethical business practice. My next step will be small claims court which will cost me nothing and them way more than the $30."
