"I have to say that when I attended the free lunch and learn I was skeptical about the infusion treatments that Florida Diabetes Relief Centers was promoting. The first doubt was why it was not even mentioned by my primary care physician or my endocrinologist if these infusions were successful. I would think that it would be well-known in the medical world. The second doubt was no way would Medicare insurance pay for it. But it gave me a free lunch at Denny’s and the information presented by Doug was very knowledgeable and I gained a better perspective in understanding this whole issue with diabetes. He was detailed and had no problem answering any questions or receiving comments from those that attended the free lunch and learn. Well, I am thankful that I did not listen to my inner voice and went with my intellectual voice and made an appointment. Best decision I have made to better my health. To my amazing surprise, my Medicare insurance pays for the treatments. A thorough inquiry by the center gave me reassurance that my insurance would cover the treatments putting me at ease with no possible surprises later. From the initial call to set up an appointment, I was greeted by the superb customer service excellence of Stephanie that handles the front desk and runs that office. Her professional mannerism made me feel comfortable and secured in knowing that I made the right choice. She introduced the staff members that would be treating me which demonstrated how important the patient is to the center. Dr. Eric is just so knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and I would say so patient in detailing the overall process and answering questions. He took time and effort to create a patient handbook for everyone to have that reiterates in layman’s terms the issue with diabetes which is a metabolic failure and the treatment which is using insulin as a hormone instead of a drug. Which for me was groundbreaking news. Step into the treatment room where lift recliners with vibration massage are provided for all patients. TV screen with a choice of sounds and scenery or training videos are at your disposal. If you want some quiet time, no problem. Headphones are available as well as a room where normally is quiet. You are greeted by Alivia and Simon who are there to hook you up and get you started on the road to a healthy life. They are unique in their style of providing care. They take an interest in you wanting to assure you that you are cared for and answer any questions you may have. Oh, I must not forget how they bring laughter into my time spent at the center. They are very personal in delivering what they do best and that is caring for the patient. You don’t leave for the day without the reassurance that your blood sugar levels are on track. They do a thorough job of checking our blood pressure and blood sugar levels during infusions. Other patients are also friendly and open to any questions that I may have. So, truth be told I am stress-free, joyful, and relaxed during my treatment. My focus is a whole lot better. Numbness in my arms would wake me up during the night and after the treatments, I am no longer experiencing loss of sleep because the numbness is gone. My sugar levels are also improving, and I feel that I am in control rather than diabetes controlling me. Lastly, I needed to find an endocrinologist which the center provided in March. Another addition to my health needs. I cannot thank the Florida Diabetes Relief Centers and its staff members enough for their excellent care and the educational information that has made me better aware of what is going on with my physical self. I wholeheartedly recommend Florida Diabetes Relief Centers."

"Since I have started with Florida Diabetes Relief Center I feel alive again!! I sleep deeper and sound all night long. I get up feeling better and more energetic. My blood sugar numbers are better than they have been in a long time. The staff are so caring from the moment you walk in the door!! You are not just a number or a face. They identify with you and take an authentic interest in you as well as your health. I am able to feel comfortable asking as many questions as I like. I get my answers and I am educated on what the process is and why. I love the patient handbook you get to record questions, thoughts and information so it is easier to share with your other healthcare professionals as well. The environment as well as the vibe is uplifting and relaxing as you sit in these amazing recliners that have a massage option of your choice. Not a big talker??? No problem!! The "quiet" room is relaxing with headphones you request to listen to soothing music as well as a television that displays an array of colorful aquatic movement. The staff checks your vitals and monitors your process until your treatment is finished. The most important part for me was they made sure you were approved for everything you needed through your insurance company prior to starting your life changing journey with them. My medications were all covered with affordable co-pays. That reassurance of no "hidden" fees was such a delight. Feeling confident on every level was huge for me! The patients are just as delightful, helpful, colorful and caring. You are met by nothing but authenticity the moment you walk through the door like nothing I have ever experienced.
